Privacy Policy

Effective September 12, 2026

Overview

Sehra (“we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and who we share it with.

Information We Collect

We collect personal information you provide directly to us, including:

  • Contact details — name, email address, phone number
  • Shipping and billing address, including province (used to determine HST)
  • Order history and preferences
  • Messages you send us through our contact channels

We do not collect or store payment card details ourselves — payment processing is handled entirely by our payment provider (Stripe), on their PCI-compliant infrastructure.

How We Use Your Information

  • To process and fulfill your orders, including calculating applicable HST
  • To communicate with you about your order, account, or inquiries
  • To improve our products, catalog, and site experience
  • To send you marketing communications, only where you've given consent

Your Consent

We obtain your meaningful consent before collecting, using, or disclosing your personal information, except where permitted or required by law. You may withdraw consent for optional uses (such as marketing emails) at any time by contacting us using the details below.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes it was collected for — generally, the duration of your customer relationship with us, plus the period required to meet our tax, accounting, and legal obligations under Canadian law.

Who We Share Your Information With

We share personal information only with third parties who need it to help us operate the store, including:

  • Payment processors (e.g., Stripe) — to process your payment securely
  • Shipping carriers (e.g., Canada Post, UPS, Purolator) — to deliver your order
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — to run our website and store data securely

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your cart. We do not currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and contractual retention requirements. To exercise these rights, contact our Privacy Officer below.

Data Security & Breach Notification

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. In the event of a breach that creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) and affected individuals, as required under PIPEDA.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page.
